I hate to be a major fitness elitist/snob (again), but...

....how long did it take people to realize this one?: http://health.yahoo.net/articles/fitness/p90x-workout-program-really-best-boosting-muscles-burning-fat

P90x has been on the market for nearly 6 or 7 years, and just now people are catching onto it and its concept of muscle confusion?  Muscle confusion is not a new concept, and has been around for quite awhile.  How the heck is it suddenly the newest fitness trend?

Not trying to be a  bitch (ok, maybe just a little), but was it a slow news day at US and Yahoo! News?

I wonder if anyone has told the writer about this awesome fitness trend that originated in Russia and involves swinging these cannonball-shaped contraptions with iron-casted handles?  I think they are called kettlebells...or was it kettleballs?  Hmm...
